Yorkshire Tea's Night at the Museum' will start on Wednesday 22 November at 9.30pm GMT and will raise funds for Chance to Shine.

The event will get underway with a tour of the famous Lord's dressing rooms, before an intimate Q&A session with an Ashes legend. Guests will then get to witness the opening exchanges between Australia and England in the historic surroundings of one of the world's oldest sports museums. An array of cricketing memorabilia will surround them, including the bespoke Ashes Collection, which centres on the famous Ashes Urn.

Bottomless cups of Yorkshire Tea will help fans power through the night, as they watch the action unfold live from The Gabba in the MCC Film Theatre. The fans will be sustained by a midnight snack during the lunch break and at the end of the first day's play everyone will be rewarded with a Lord's breakfast.

Kevin Sinfield, Head of Brand Marketing at Yorkshire Tea said: The first night of The Ashes is an exciting occasion and our Night at the Museum event will be a proper celebration. We can't wait to join the lucky ticket holders to cheer on England at the Home of Cricket - fuelled by proper brews.

Fabian Devlin, Head of communications at Chance to Shine, said This is a brilliant opportunity to watch the start of one of sport's greatest rivalries in the company of the very trophy that's being competed for. It will be a great atmosphere and if you're planning on staying up, this is definitely the way to do it in style.

You'll also be helping to give the next generation of cricketers the opportunity to play and learn through cricket.

Adam Chadwick, Curator of the MCC Museum, said The start of any Ashes series is exciting and MCC are thrilled to be hosting Yorkshire Tea's Night at the Museum which helps raise funds for Chance to Shine.
