Places now available for FREE London MCC Spirit of Cricket camp! The Cricket Foundation has teamed up with MCC to deliver MCC Spirit of Cricket Summer Camps at selected venues across England and Wales. Places have now been opened for the inaugural StreetChance MCC Spirit of Cricket camp on 17-19th August (3 days). The StreetChance London camp will be held at Ferndale Community Sports Centre, Nursery Road, Brixton SW9 8PB (5 mins walk from Brixton tube) The camp is FREE of charge and open to boys and girls aged 11 & 16 years and of all levels of ability, with the opportunity to: Take part in fun and enjoyable activities. Win exciting prizes. Take part in a Street20 cricket tournament - a fast, fun version of the game using a tapeball (tennis ball wrapped in electrical tape). Meet a professional cricketer Every participant will receive a bag of cricket goodies which will include: baseball cap, certificate of participation, t-shirt and a mini-bat.
