We have an exciting new resource available on our Schools’ Portal: Roar! for Diversity is a new KS2 PSHE resource, developed in partnership by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Premier League, to teach children why a diverse team is a strong team.

Through the partnership with Premier League Primary Stars and the ECB, we're aiming to demonstrate the positive power of sport and give young people a voice on the topics that matter to them.

The Roar! for Diversity resources inspire pupils to respect and value individual differences and to recognise that diversity within a team helps to make it stronger.

To enter the Roar for diversity competition, pupils need to work together to create an advert to celebrate diversity in teams and show others just how important it is. Pupils’ adverts can be as creative as they like – they may wish to do a poster, a poem, an artwork, a storyboard for a short film or any other idea they choose!

Watch the film below to find out more about what pupils need to do to enter.

The competition is open from Thursday 21 November 2019 until Friday 14 February 2020and the winning team will receive exciting prizes, such as match tickets, a trophy visit to their school and the opportunity to work with designers to bring their winning advert to life. So find out more about the competition and empower your pupils to ‘Roar!’ for Diversity.
