The London Symphony Orchestra and the Cricket Foundation held an exclusive cricket and music dinner at LSO St Luke's to support their educational programmes, LSO On Track and StreetChance. Money raised from the 'Passion and Performance Gala Evening' will help give children from some of London's most deprived boroughs a chance to get involved in inspirational sport and music making.

The evening began with a champagne reception, followed by a fabulous three-course dinner. Former England Cricket Team Captains - Michael Atherton OBE, Alec Stewart OBE, Mark Butcher and Allan Lamb were all in attendance as well as celebrated actress Jane Asher. Music was provided by world-class clarinettist Andrew Marriner, who performed a short recital with the LSO String Quartet.

LSO St Luke's is an 18th-century Grade 1 listed Hawksmoor church, restored to become the home of the LSO's community and music education programme, LSO Discovery. Located on London's Old Street, EC1, this stylish and sophisticated venue plays host to a diverse selection of high profile events, recordings, concerts and workshops, alongside LSO rehearsals.
