To celebrate the launch of Bob Cattell's latest book, Bowl Like The Devil, boys and girls from around the country are being given the opportunity to apply for a place in a team to face a team of cricketing legends on 12th July at Bedford School. This team of international cricket greats, men and women, will face a team of young cricketers; boys and girls; aged 16-18, drawn from schools and clubs across the country. The event and the book itself will be raising funds for Chance to Shine.

The game is a chance for young cricketers (16-18) to compete against some of the great names of cricket from previous era: to match their skills against former England fast bowlers Alex Tudor and Dean Headley as well as other ex-internationals including Rosalie Birch, Chris Schofield, Ebony Rainford-Brent and Australia's Greg Matthews.

To enter just fill in the online: http://www.bowllikethedevil.co.uk/home/challenge-the-legends application form before the 1st June deadline. The selectors - Phillip Hodson, president of the MCC, Charlotte Edwards, England Women's captain and author, Bob Cattell will pick the team based on the best entries. Players will be notified if they are playing on 15th June.
