Fundraise

Every year, collectively, our amazing supporters raise thousands of pounds for us by putting on their own fundraising events and activities. Here's a just a few of the different ways that you could support us on our mission:

In your community

Recently, we’ve seen a busy fixture list of fundraising cricket matches; collections at local theatres; and nine-year-old budding cricketer, Maurice Griffin, seeking sponsorship for his successful attempt at the world’s longest bowling run up.

If you’d like to organise your own fundraising activity to help us spread the power of cricket even further, or you’d like to make us the beneficiary of something you already have planned, we'd love to hear from you! Please email us or call on 020 7735 2881 today.

In your school

Calling all primary school teachers! Could you and your pupils help us on our mission to give as many schools as we possibly can – schools just like yours – access to our free six-week coaching programme and resources? Please, play your part by taking part in our national fundraiser, the Big Catch.

The Big Catch is a sponsored activity where pupils work together in pairs to take as many catches as they can in two minutes.

It’s a great active challenge for the children. It’s also quick and easy to run and we can provide you with all of the resources you need to make it a great success.

Of course, you’re welcome to fundraise by doing whatever you like and whenever you like. All we ask is that you get in touch with us to let us know what you’re up to, so that we can offer our support… and say a big thank you!

Challenge yourself

This is your opportunity to combine a passion of yours with raising much needed funds so Chance to Shine can continue spreading the power of cricket across the country.

There are plenty of events out there for you to take part in - from walks to treks, runs to cycles there really is something for everyone. Chance to Shine has partnered with Discover Adventure to bring you a huge range of challenge events, whether you want to cycle from London to Paris, trek across Costa Rica or climb Kilimanjaro, you name it, they do it!

Whether you want a one-day challenge or a one-week adventure, you can have fun, raise money for Chance to Shine and achieve something amazing.

You can also take part in a fundraising event for you and your colleagues if your organisation is looking for a way of giving back to the community.

If you want to take part in a challenge event for Chance to Shine, or need advice setting up a fundraising page, let us know what you are up to so our team can support you along the way.

You might also want to check out our events page, where we post Chance to Shine event opportunities, and also specific Challenge Events, e.g. London Marathon, Ride London.
