Past stars get the whites on for Chance to Shine Both clients and employees of Throgmorton came together with some of the legends of the game to compete in a cricket tournament last week for Chance to Shine. The teams were England, West Indies, Australia and New Zealand and each country was represented by stars including Phil Mustard, Devon Malcolm, Bill Athey, Darren Bicknell, Courtney Walsh, Damien Martyn, Scott Styris and Zinzan Brooke. Guests enjoyed a barbeque and drinks that were put on at the picturesque Burton's Court in the grounds of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea. They were also treated to entertainment from comedian Henning Wehn, the German Ambassador of Comedy and singer Charlie Bicknell throughout the afternoon. The teams played in a round robin tournament throughout the day with the two top placed teams contesting the final which was watched by 200 guests in the evening's sun. The tournament was eventually won by the New Zealand team who won the closely contested final against Australia. Speaking at the event, Andrew Rubio, chief executive of Throgmorton said, "Today has been extremely successful and we are pleased to have been able to raise money for a great cause like Chance to Shine."
