A Cricket United XI will take on a Surrey All Stars XI featuring current favourites teaming up some club legends in the latest end of season charity game to be staged at the Kia Oval on Thursday 22nd September.

As well as modern stars Jason Roy, Sam Curran, Jade Dernbach, Ben Foakes and Azhar Mahmood , the Surrey team will boast legendary captain Adam Hollioake, wily Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh and charismatic batsman Kevin Pietersen playing his only English game of the year and you can purchase tickets.

They will take on a Cricket United XI featuring former West Indian captain Darren Sammy, popular spinner Monty Panesar, Pakistani all-rounder Yasir Arafat and many more big International names to be confirmed on both sides.

The Cricket United side will be managed by England's Ashes winning captain Michael Vaughan, whilst the Surrey side will be under the management of Mark Butcher.

Adult tickets are £20 with U16s just £1. The Pavilion will be reserved for Members for this game and those wanting to sit there should buy tickets by calling 0844 3751845 or visiting the Ticket Office in person during a match.

The game is being played to raise funds for Cricket United, a three way link up between Chance to Shine, the Lord's Taverners and the PCA Benevolent Fund and sponsored by Yorkshire Tea.

Cricket United is a simple idea. Three charities, one aim: to change lives through cricket. Lord's Taverners, Chance to Shine and PCA Benevolent Fund already joined forces on Saturday 13th August, to raise funds and awareness during the Investec Test held at the Kia Oval and the campaign will now extend to the Charity Cricket Challenge on September 22nd.

Funds raised for the joint appeal are then split evenly between the charities and used to change the lives of a range of cricket beneficiaries; from children starting out in the game to professional players retiring from it.

As well as aiming to raise money for good causes, the game will once again act as an end of season party for the Kia Ova after last year's Cricket for Heroes match which raised over £300,000 for the Help for Heroes charity.
