Sustainability
There are three key focuses for creating sustainable cricket cultures in schools and clubs: competition, pathways and teacher delivery.
Projects are awarded the ‘sustainable kitemark’ at the end of their delivery period or once all schools within that project have been deemed sustainable. Sustainable projects and schools agree a level of commitment, outlining how they intend to continue working together, with the minimum level of delivery being competition. This ensures Chance to Shine continues to make a positive impact on school-club partnerships and that activities continue to take place.

Sustainable projects
“Having the coaches has definitely improved my knowledge of cricket and given more games and drills for me to do when the Chance to Shine programme isn’t running.”
