The Lord's Taverners
The Lord’s Taverners are very special partners in Chance to shine.
Right from the outset, The Lord’s Taverners have been formidable in backing Chance to shine – not least in committing £1 million. Half of this sum will be allocated for the installation of Non-Turf cricket pitches to provide facilities which in far too many schools are inadequate. In 2006 Chance to shine installed 48 Non-Turf pitches and so far in 2007 an additional 25 have been provided.
