City Dipping for Chance to shine

Chance to shine employees Rosalie Birch and Claire Hall today (26th February) joined forces with other members of the Pitch Perfect Lord Mayor's Appeal team to swim the annual City Dip. Each year City residents, City businesses, sports clubs, schools and livery companies are just some of the many who support this fun event to raise money for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal.  Over this weekend, 45 teams will swim 5,000m, either as individuals or teams, all in aid of charity. The Pitch Perfect team, made up from Paul Broadhurst, Jo Johnson and Julia Lindon from the London Symphony Orchestra, and Rosalie Birch and Claire Hall from The Cricket Foundation, completed the swim in just under two hours.

All the money raised by the sponsored swimmers will go to The Lord Mayor’s Appeal which is raising money for two charities – London Symphony Orchestra and The Cricket Foundation.
